2¢ Worth

July 24, 2007 | |

After reading some of the blogs and clicking around on the blog 2¢ Worth what I have come to realize is that these blogs not only have great information in them but they also have links to other great blogs with great information.  Great people tend to be connected with other great people so I found myself reading blogs that he reads - what a wealth of information!!!  As I was reading his blog An Interesting Day at Wildwood I had to chuckle as he was presenting at a technology convention and the Internet was down - how ironic!!!  Anyway what I found interesting about this post is that he said it shoud not be no child left behind but All Children Ready for the Future - what a concept!!!  As I read all this information it definately crosses my mind that I have a lot to learn and realize that as soon as I learn it it will probably change.   I also found what he said about blogging very interesting in Playing? In the Library he stated that sometimes when he blogs he gets in wrong or leaves something out, as it is something he tends to do quickly; but the great part about it is that what he misses someone else will add it in a comment.  What a great way to share ideas.  I think I am going to like this blogging thing!!!

    Angela,

My first comment to a “blogger” fellow educator. I too am reading David Warlick after having spent a day with Will Richardson (http://www.weblogg-ed.com/)who is interesting to read as is Alan November. I am intrigued at the possibilities that blogging offers and want to see if I can make this a viable tool for both learning and teaching.

Welcome to the blogging community! You will find it transforms your views about education and your own professional development. I have learned more in this past year than I have in the previous 30 years (other than when I was in grad school!)
It’s a roller coaster blast of energy!
    Enjoy.

    Angela…

Welcome to the edublogosphere. There are a multitude of resources/people (I put them together as they are interchangeable in my eyes) out there to lend you any hand that you might need. I created my blog last December and have seen the value in it grow exponentially. Welcome to the ’sphere!’
